AOC Collaborative EW Symposium
Any future near-peer conflict will almost certainly involve coalition warfighting. For such, many standards in kinetic weapons, communications, and operations have been instantiated, as in NATO. EW has arguably been less standardized with regard to desired synergies and required interoperability in coalition spectrum warfare. Therefore, EW synergies and interoperability across coalition forces are worth exploring. We seek to cover any and all aspects of current and future EW and intend to address how these might work in the most difficult and challenging warfighting context for which we can prepare in coalition near-peer conflict. Prominent leaders, contributors, and representatives from the AUKUS Partners: Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States will gather from government, academia, and industry to address EW challenges and opportunities in the coalition warfighting.

6G Forge (Spring)
2025 is the year where work begins on the road to 6G but there are still some big questions to answer. While many people debate whether 6G should offer radical innovation or gradual evolution, it misses the bigger issue: what’s the point?
Following directly from an ETSI event exploring the work and key questions in standards and pre-standards, 6G Forge brings together stakeholders from across the ecosystem. In two days of discussions and debates, we:
Explore whether work on 6G so far offers solutions to the needs of telecoms providers, governments and end users. Does it have a useful place alongside other business and technology trends, and how do we best leverage that? If not, what kind of course adjustment is needed?
Refocus 6G discussions and mindsets on solving the telecoms industry’s biggest challenge: creating growth.
We’ve all heard the hype, and some of us are already in Gartner’s “trough of disillusionment”; it’s high time for real talk. New England Workshop on Software Defined Radio (NEWSDR)
The 2025 New England Workshop on Software-Defined Radio (NEWSDR 2025) is the fifteenth installment of an annual workshop series organized by the Boston SDR User Group (SDR-Boston). We are very excited about this year’s NEWSDR event being hosted in-person on the beautiful campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA, USA. The primary goal of this workshop is to provide a forum that enables SDR enthusiasts to get together, collaborate, and introduce SDR concepts to those interested in furthering their knowledge of SDR capabilities and available resources. NEWSDR 2025 welcomes both experienced SDR enthusiasts as well as individuals who are interested in getting started with SDR.
